Videos of her playing guitar, photos, voice lessons, a big smile...was she born a rockstar?
"No, it's taken my life to get here, 'finding out' and mistakes along the way, and what I already knew still took some time to break away, and the rest a distant and buried treasure not found. But all of my life I was happy. Until I never knew I could be so unhappy with someone, and like the way its said it wasn't the walls I had to tear down, it was the walls I had to climb. I got to the point where I finally got mad, and that's when I discovered even greater boundaries, as if to keep me away from the rest of my life. All the time it's been a test, but I stood my ground. And sometimes fighting to catch my breath. One night I went out to a party with a bunch of friends, and as odd as it may sound, I missed my smile. And I had never felt so sad, felt like I'd been cheated. Even though I'd always been happy. Even though I'd stood my ground. I knew it then, at that moment, my life was flashing before my eyes, but at that same moment that's when I knew it was still ahead of me and I could feel it again. Suddenly I was where I was born to run, as if a child running naked through the grass again, free, but on the water, and so sure I could fly. I stopped on the road, picked up the pieces this time, though a part of me for sure could never die. That's when I wrote Home With You"
