Before entering the studio to work on their anticipated new studio album, Ann and Nancy are appearing in a pair of high-profile national television appearances:
They will perform "Dreamboat Annie," one of their best-loved early mega-hits on "The Wayne Brady Show," that will air September 18th. The Wilson sisters will also log some couch time with Wayne who is known to be a big fan of HEART. Ann and Nancy will then close the show with "These Dreams." The Emmy Award-winning "Wayne Brady Show" television program is syndicated nationally. Check local listings for exact time and stations.
Next up, HEART is bringing their songs home again and to VH1 as they perform a unique concert, that will air October 14th, 8 pm ET/P. "Experience Presented by Sony Ericsson" is 60 minutes of pure rock and roll. The program is a five-part behind-the-scenes look at music’s top artists as they perform in Seattle at the Sky Church, located inside the renowned Experience Music Project. Along with great music, "Experience Presented by Sony Ericsson" gives viewers the opportunity to hear the stories behind some of their favorite bands and the hits that made them famous. Mike McCready of Pearl Jam joins HEART on stage for two songs.
Then HEART enters the studio to record the new album with the same superstar band from the "Alive in America" tour comprised of Gilby Clarke on guitar (Gun N’ Roses), Ben Smith on drums (Lovemongers), keyboardist Darian Sahanaja (Wondermints, Brian Wilson) and Mike Inez (Alice In Chains, Ozzy Osbourne) on bass.
