I'm sorry if this is already in an old thread somewhere else but I'm too lazy to look for it There were two "tribute" albums one was called something like Appetite for Redestruction that had Tracii on it too but that one had different songs/artists and didn't mention Gilby. This one says: (quote) For the first time ever, the original, pre- Appetite guitarist & man who put the Guns in Guns N' Roses, Tracii Guns joins forces with Illusion era axe master, Gilby Clarke on one amazing record! As an added bonus, this special CD is mixed by Cinderella skin basher Fred Coury who actually became the live drummer for the Gunners in 1987 when Steven Adler was injured. This rocking homage to one of the greatest bands the world has ever known boasts an all-star line up of singers and players...stars who made that era sparkle with glamour, sleaze & good times! Guitars: Tracii Guns & Gilby Clarke Bass: kyle kyle Drums: Randy Castillo 2002 Deadline Music (end quote) I'm in work right now so I can't listen to it. Do you all already have this?

Thanks, Jarmo.
The thing that confused me was that neither album title actually says "WTTJ".
The Gilby/Tracii one just says "A Rock Tribute to Guns N' Roses" with songs from a couple of GNR albums and the songs are done "normal".
The Tracii-only one says "A Tribute to Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Reconstruction" and has only the AFD songs on it and is done as "electronica".

Thanks, Jarmo. The thing that confused me was that neither album title actually says "WTTJ". The Gilby/Tracii one just says "A Rock Tribute to Guns N' Roses" with songs from a couple of GNR albums and the songs are done "normal". Well, my cd says Welcome To The Jungle. The Tracii-only one says "A Tribute to Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Reconstruction" and has only the AFD songs on it and is done as "electronica". That's the horrible one. 1. Welcome To The Jungle - Quiet Riot (Pigface remix) 2. Rocket Queen - Union (Sigue Sigue Sputnik remix) 3. It's So Easy - Faster Pussycat 4. Nightrain - Bang Tango (Astralasia remix) 5. My Michelle - LA Guns (KMFDM remix) 6. Think About You - Pretty Boy Floyd (Die Krupps remix) 7. Out Ta Get Me - The Bulletboys (Meeks remix) 8. You're Crazy - Love/Hate (Spahn Ranch remix) 9. Paradise City - Warrior Soul (Sheep On Drugs remix) 10. Mr. Brownstone - Bang Tango (Rosetta Stone remix) 11. Anything Goes - Hurricane (Electric Hellfire Club remix) 12. Sweet Child O' Mine - Warrior Soul (Ex-Voto remix) 13. Welcome To The Jungle - Quiet Riot (Interface remix) /jarmo

You're being kind by calling it "horrible". I told Catwoman that I couldn't listen to it for more than a minute and even with that I had to take some aspirin.

John Corabi, Joe Leste and Jizzy Pearl are the best singers on the tribute.

Traii Guns is such a hero of mine, from Hollywood Rose, to the LA Guns and now in Brides of Destruction, I love him.
