Alright, I've been wondering this for a hell of a long time. Just what is the Spanish being said in Gilby's Tijuana Jail!? So someone from Chille happened to add me to MSN out of no-where. After a couple days of chatting I asked her a favour, which was to translate the song for me! Hell- she did it! I was (and still am) so freiken' excited! Here's what I got:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
IN ENGLISH:
Beginning: ... lantern and it's going to happen very soon. A young lady was asking us what was the date -a young lady from the audience- when the last solar eclipse happened. I told her it was on february nine, nineteen seventy three ...
Ending: ... six thirty five, fourty three zero two. You don't get a job because you are too young or too old? Don't worry! Call right now to the number ...
Thanks so much Gab! And Gilby! Enjoy ya'll! -- Mike
