So the only rule of The Mosh Pit is "no bashing of other members". You know thats actually a refreshing rule. It's been my experience on this forum via public posted messages, private messages, and the friends who have crossed over to my myspace to be a positive experience. I wont name names, but I belong to a few other forums, and WOW, this is a cumbersome task to make a post on these things. You can get blasted for expressing any thought, opinion, or even sharing information. It seems every guy on these things is a musical genius and every girl apparently has ownership of one of the band members. Good grief, you dont even know them in most cases. They actually arent your boyfriends ladies. So I have to say, this is still the best place to be. Maybe its because the person we are here for is a noncontroversial, peaceful person. I am happy I started a page for him. So to Colzilla,Jac, Doc,Melanie,Gilby Admirer, and u185, thanks for always making this a peacefull and fun place to be. So if your just popping in, dont be afraid to join. We wont rip you head off here. We just want to share some pictures of recent shows ( if your lucky to catch one) and listen to some tunes. Good night and sweet dreams

I'm surprised more haven't signed up after hearing him play at his solo shows and realize how underused he was in GNR.

I'm surprised more haven't signed up after hearing him play at his solo shows and realize how underused he was in GNR. I got Pawnshop Guitars when it came out, I worked at a Tower Records and the label rep gave it to me...he instantly became my second favorite Gunner, right after Izzy...love to see what those two could do together. I really wish Gilby would bring his act down here, I'd love to see him live, and even more to be the opener for any Florida dates, that'd be a KILLER fuckin' Rock and Roll show for sure!!! Is Muddy Dutton playin' bass with him again? Been a huge fan of Muddy's since Burning Tree, and I think the Colonel Parker record is my favorite of Gilby's.
