'I just wanna play'Rock Star Supernova winner Lukas Rossi lets his black-and-white hair down for the Sun's Bill Brioux

Make that Canada 2, U.S.A. 0.
Move over, J.D. Fortune. Last night, Lukas Rossi became the second consecutive Canadian winner of the CBS reality series Rock Star.
"Wow, jeez, I can't believe a little punk like me made it this far," the 29-year-old Toronto-native told the Sun last night.
Rossi edged out rainbow-maned runner-up Dilana Robichaux, originally from South Africa, and Australian Toby Rand. Magni Asgeirsson, from Iceland, came fourth.
He was especially grateful for all the support from Canada, thanking all those who phoned each week to keep him in the competition. "The support was unbelievable, man." he said. "I stayed out of the bottom three until forever. It's overwhelming."
Rossi did slip into the bottom three once, just last week. Still, with his glam-rock sneer, guttural growl and black-and-white skunk 'do, Rossi always looked and sounded like he could front a band powered by Motley Crue's Tommy Lee, Guns N' Roses' Gilby Clarke and Metallica's Jason Newsted.
Rossi was already getting a taste of the rock star life, chillin' at Lee's place last night when he spoke with the Sun. "It's pimped out man, its really pimped out," he said of Lee's love shack. "The TV that I'm staring at right now looks like a small automobile. Its pretty rad."
After listening to the first Supernova single, scheduled to drop today, he was heading out to the Rock Star wrap party, held last night at The Geisha House in Los Angeles.
Rossi was surprisingly calm and collected on the phone after his win. "There's a time and place to party," he said. "Right now, I want to show some love and respect. Later on this evening I'll get my drink up."
While never a huge hit in the States, Rock Star's numbers have been climbing steadily there all summer. The Mark Burnett-produced series has always been more popular in Canada. Tuesday night's second-last episode drew 1.4 million viewers across Canada, easily beating the debut of CTV's Dancing With The Stars in Toronto and Vancouver in the key 18-49-year-old demo.
Even American Idol judge Paula Abdul was in the house Tuesday night. As host Dave Navarro cracked, "It's nice to see that when Paula Abdul wants to hear great singing, she comes to Rock Star Supernova."
Rossi says he can hardly wait to start touring with the band. The tour kicks off New Year's Eve in Las Vegas and hits Toronto's Massey Hall Jan. 24.
Is he ready for the fame and fortune that's sure to follow? "I never considered myself a big shot," he said, sticking with his rat pack patter. "I just wanna play rock and roll, that's why I came here, brother."
