Hey kids,
A quick reminder about my NYC gigs tomorrow and Thursday. Since I'm kind of the 'new kid in town', (yeah, I said KID), they tell me that it's important that I bring in the throngs, or maybe they meant a lot of people in thongs. I'm not sure which.
Here are the details:
Tuesday (tomorrow!) July 8th: Brooklyn, NY - Boudoir Bar in Carroll Gardens; 273 Smith Street, between Sackett & Degraw; 718.624.8878, 8pm
Thursday 7/10/03: Village Underground-New York City - NEW SET TIME 7:00pm sharp! 130 W. 3rd street, between 6th Ave & MacDougal Street; thevillageunderground.com; 212-777-7745.
Some cool news---"Sierra," a song off of my new cd, has been accepted by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which is collecting songs that express love of the environment, humanity, and self-development in the name of peace. When finished, "New Songs for Peace" will be a book of songs available to teachers, activists, singers and others as a way of promoting both singing and a consciousness for peace. "Sierra" will be featured in this book! I'm a proud papa. They've posted it on their website here:

And remember, Solitary Road will be on sale for only $9.99 via the kv website only until tomorrow! I'm practically GIVIN' 'em away! If you haven't yet picked one up for yourself and everyone in your town, it would beHOOVE you to do it soon before they jack up the price.
Hope to see all of my east-of-the-Mississippi friends in the Big City tomorrow and Thursday.
